Republic Day celebration was celebrated with great pomp in Government Higher Secondary School… Flag hoisting and cultural program was organized on the occasion of Republic Day celebration in Government Higher Secondary School, Barpali Champa, India. Invited to the program were Press Club President and Kona Ambassador to India Kulwant Singh Saluja, Chhattisgarh State Human Rights Crime Bureau Chairman Jatinder Pal, special guest Amolak Singh, Mrs. Madhuri Bareth District President Women’s Wing Champa, Press Club Secretary Moolchand Gupta, Treasurer Vikram Tiwari. Former councilors Amarjeet Singh Khatkar and Anjum Ansari were present.
The program started with Chhattisgarh state song. In the cultural program, students of primary, secondary and higher secondary schools presented dance, poetry, speeches, group folk songs, Sua dance, drama on cleanliness and songs describing the importance of the colors of the tricolor flag along with captivating performances. All the participants were awarded consolation prizes. The guests on the stage honored three primary school teachers, five secondary school teachers and eleven lecturers from higher secondary school, two assistant teachers, two public participation teachers, three assistant grade two and three part-time employees from Chhattisgarh for their excellent contribution in the field of education and social inspiration. Honored with Shiksha Ratna Award and given Shiksha Ratna Certificate. In the year 2022-23, a total of 16 students of class 9th, class 10th, class 11th and class 12th, who scored above 80% marks in the examination, were honored with education promotion awards and mementos. Press Club President and Kona’s Ambassador to India Kulwant Singh Saluja announced that the students who scored excellent marks in the board examination in the year 2023-24 will be honored with an incentive amount of Rs 500, memento and certificate. In the end, Principal Lakshmi Prasad Soni expressed gratitude to all the teachers for teaching various programs to the children, Rajesh Rathore and Bhumi Madam for encouraging and honoring the excellent programs performed by the children and for the successful conduct of the program. At the end, the closing announcement was made by distributing Prasad to the children and wishing them a bright future.
