صكوك غفران
صكوك غفران قدمتها مترفقا
بك يا رفيق العمر بعد فراق
و بنود عهد قد ضمنتها مؤكدا
وجوبا أن أحفظها دون إملاق
ومالي سواك يا ملاكي بديلا
فأنت ذو سمت جميل راق
أراك بصبح نسمة لثمت شذى
و داعبت جبيني كما لو راق
فأجلت كآبة بنفس عنت كدرا
حين بصرتك كزهر ندي عابق
و شمس توارت بشفقها خجلا
كعروس بخدرها بسحر مآق
قالوا في بعادك نطوى صحائفا
فلم يزل بك قلبي معلق و باق
و كم سلوت من هوى مللا
إلا هواك كما النهر ثائر رقراق
يفيض شوقا بنبعه متجددا
كأنه بركان تأجج في الأعماق
أنا ما تنفست العبير معطرا
إلا بصبح نظرتك فيه برواق
انت الذي أذهب بي كآبة وألما
كما الدواء طاب لقلبي الخفاق
سأظل أطلب إطلالته تيمنا
و أصونه دوما فلست بعاق

Apologetics
Apologetics I have offered out of compassion
For you, my lifelong companion, after departure
And the terms of a covenant I have included, affirming
It is obligatory to keep them without releasing
And I have no substitute but you, my angel
For you are of a beautiful, refined appearance
I see you in the morning, a breeze that kissed the fragrance
And caressed my forehead as if it were preacher
So I removed the sadness with a soul that was troubled by turbidity
When I see you like a fragrant, dewy flower
And a sun that has hidden behind its twilight shyly
Like a bride in her chamber with the charming eyes
They said in your absence we fold pages
But my heart has not ceased to be attached to you and remains
And how many times have I been comforted by boredom of love
Except your love, like a river raging and flowing
Overflowing with longing from its spring, renewed
As if it were a volcano raging in the depths
I have not breathed the fragrant fragrance
Except in the morning of your glance In your passing our route
You are the one who takes away my worries and pain
Like a cure, that is good for my throbbing heart
I will continue to ask for its appearance as a blessing
And I will always protect it, for I am not disobedient
